The Graduate was a film of it's time. When it came out, ever person under 30 could relate to it, and anyone over 30 hated it. This film, for me, has it's pro's and con's, but overall is a good movie. The plot was good, with problems and solutions, and a relatable archetype as the main character.
The wedding brawl was probably my favorite scene in the film. For its time period, the editing of the film was good, but what concerned me were some of the film techniques. I felt that the slow and fast zooms were a bit amateur for a big time film. I also felt like the soundtrack was a tad repetitive. The soundtrack and film techniques were the only two things that bothered me though, I felt like the rest of the film was pretty solid.
